ABOUT THE TEMPLE
Our Story
ISKCON Brahmapur is a centre of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness in Brahmapur (Berhampur), Ganjam district, Odisha. The temple at Lanjipalli on National Highway 16 is home to Sri Sri Radha Radhakanta, and a home for devotion, learning and service — where devotees and visitors gather for darshan, kirtan, Bhagavad-gītā study and prasadam.
ISKCON was founded in 1966 by His Divine Grace A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada to share the teachings of Lord Sri Krishna as presented in the Bhagavad-gītā and Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam. Temple history and team details will be added after verification by the temple management.

FOUNDER-ACHARYA
His Divine Grace A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada
Srila Prabhupada founded the International Society for Krishna Consciousness in New York in 1966. In the years that followed he travelled the world, established more than a hundred temples, and translated and wrote commentaries on the Bhagavad-gītā, Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam and other Vedic texts.
His books and teachings continue to inspire ISKCON’s activities in Brahmapur and around the world.
